AvatarDigi provides digital distribution services to over 350 independent labels around the world who control several thousand masters. avatardigi has a very close working relationship with the Apple iTunes music store and other online retailers which allows us to make sure your music is placed in the stores quickly. We endeavor to have our client's projects given prominent placement on iTunes. We also have deals with most of the other online retailers including Rhapsody, Yahoo, Zune, eMusic, etc
Unlike most other aggregators, we don't take everyone. We are interested in working with artists and labels whose music we believe in. This might seem selfish or elitist but we think it preserves our credibility with online retailers. If we were to put up absolutely anyone on the site, online retailers would lose respect for the artists and labels we work with. Many of the large aggregators put up anyone who pays their set up fee. They have NO credibility with online retailers. Further, our competitors put up as many as 1,000 artists a week -- how can they effectively give your project the special care it deserves if they are putting up so many titles?
